Dr. Erin Kindred received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Peru State College in Peru, Nebraska. She also received her Bachelor of Science in psychobiology from the University of Nebraska Kearney in Kearney, Nebraska, before receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her psychiatry residency from Creighton University Medical Center (CUMC), also in Omaha, before receiving her fellowship in behavioral neurology neuropsychiatry from UNMC.

She’s certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support, and she has certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. 

She’s a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association, American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Neuropsychiatric Association.
