Mallory Swantek has been treating patients at Columbus Psychiatry Clinic since October 2025. She is a licensed independent mental health practitioner and licensed alcohol and drug counselor.
Swantek completed her undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During her time at UNL, she assisted in Hope’s Lab, which focuses on treating depression and anxiety and providing support for the LGBTQ+ community. She completed her masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska.
Swantek has specialized training in treating substance use disorders, trauma, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder. She also has specialized neuropsychotherapy and crisis response training. She is AgriSafe certified and understands the unique challenges faced by rural communities. Swantek is a member of the Nebraska Counseling Association.
