Placzek joined the clinic in September 2023 and is a provisional licensed mental health practitioner, providing therapeutic services for children and adults. When working with her patients, she uses strategies including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT). Her goal is to create a safe space where her patients can express themselves, while also learning coping methods to improve their overall well-being.
Placzek earned her undergraduate degree and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
