Niffenegger is a doctorally prepared advanced practice nurse practitioner at Columbus Psychiatry Clinic. She is dedicated to helping people feel heard, understood and supported by providing personalized care, guidance and medication management that will improve their mental well-being.

She received her licensed practical nursing certification from Central Community College in Grand Island, Nebraska. She then earned her Associate of Science in nursing degree from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, followed by her Master of Science in nursing degree from Touro University California in Vallejo, California, where she was a clinical nurse leader. She later returned to Touro University to complete a dual Doctor of Nursing degree and family nurse practitioner certificate. Niffenegger returned to Nebraska, but continued her education at Purdue University Global in West Lafayette, Indiana, where she received a post-master’s certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. 

Niffenegger is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and she is a member of the Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner associations.
